Gronk has Fun During Offseason

Despite a season ending back injury to Star Tight End Rob Gronkowski, the Patriots continued to prove their dominance in the NFL and won yet another Super Bowl. While recovering from this terrifying injury, Gronk couldn’t play football, but that didn’t stop him from having fun in the meantime. He started off his fun by visiting the best soccer club in the world: FC Barcelona. He visited the Spanish club for a soccer game and had fun  with their stars including Neymar Jr. and Lionel Messi. Gronkowski had plenty of fun and even compared Messi to Tom Brady’s; which is a fair comparison since both have their teams in contention every year and have won at the highest level for a long time. However, Rob’s goalkeeping skills were horrible and fans suggest he stick to football.

Gronk seems to be a legitimate friend of Mojo Rawley, a proffesional W#WE wrestler. On wrestling’s biggest night of the year, Wrestlemania 33, Gronk couldn’t help staying out of the action. Rawley was having some  trouble and when his opponent Jinder Mahal doused Gronk with his own beer, Gronk had to get in on the action.

There’s no way Bill Belichick is down with his tight end dropping the 6-foot-5, 230-pound Jinder Mahal with a shoulder-block especially when said tight end is just a few months removed from back surgery.  The physicality didn’t go beyond that one move and a couple of boot stomps, so I don’t imagine Gronk will be summoned to Patriot Way over the stunt. However, it does show that Gronk may already be recovered from his injury and will be ready to play for the 2017 season, giving the Patriots yet another weapon to crush their opponents.

A few days after his Wrestlemania appearance, Gronk made headlines yet again. Robert Kraft had returned Brady’s jerseys to him on April 4. Tom decided to wear them to the Red Sox’s opening game and hold it up to the loyal fans. Rob quickly snatched the jersey and attempted to run away, but Brady chased him and tackled the Tight End to the ground. The crowd at Fenway Park cheered them on and welcomed Gronk back to football, or so we hope.

All in all Gronk has done his best to stay positive and recover as quickly as possible to be able to play in the 2017 season. This is great news for Patriots fans, but terrible news for everyone else.
